Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on September 28, 2026.

Missing Reflections LLC is working to make www.missingreflections.com usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We're a small independent operation, and accessibility is something we're actively working on rather than something we're claiming to have finished. If you hit a wall somewhere on this site, we want to hear about it.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We're working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We haven't had a formal third-party audit, so we're not claiming certified conformance. We're telling you what we've actually done and inviting you to tell us where we're falling short. So far that includes:

  • Setting the site's language so screen readers pronounce content correctly

  • A high-contrast black-and-white palette throughout

  • A clear, consistent heading structure on each page

  • Keeping motion and animation to a minimum

Where we know we fall short

Some content on this site comes from third parties we don't control: embedded players from SoundCloud, Bandcamp, YouTube and our Instagram feed, and the checkout flow provided by our payment processor. We can't guarantee how accessible those are, so we declare partial compliance on the pages where they appear. If one of them is blocking you from doing something here, email us and we'll find another way to get you what you need.

Our products and lessons

We don't have a physical shop or office open to the public, so there are no premises to describe here. What we do have is downloads and one-to-one lessons, and we'll adapt both where we can.

If a file format, a pack layout, or a lesson setup doesn't work for you, tell us what would work better. We can supply documentation in a different format, run lessons at a different pace or over a different platform, and talk through anything that's easier spoken than read. Just ask.

Requests, issues, and suggestions

If you find an accessibility problem on this site, or you need something here in a different format, email info@missingreflections.com and put "Accessibility" in the subject line.

It helps if you tell us what page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what got in the way, plus the assistive technology and browser you're using if you know them.

We read every one of these. If we can fix it, we will. If it's going to take a while, we'll tell you that too, and we'll find another way to get you what you need in the meantime.
